So I’m turning thirteen tomorrow and it is quite a doozy. I’ve been spending all week cleaning up the house and making preperations for the birthday party I will be having. And at school, STAAR testing and pretending like I don’t know what my friends are planning to do to me tomorrow is just… unsusual.

It’s quite bitter sweet since I am almost done with age twelve and 7th grade. I have only one more year of middle school left and I don’t want to leave my friends. I also still want to grow up and have new expieriences. It makes me just a touch nostalgic and meloncholic around this time of year.

Anyways, birthdays are still fun and cool to have a whole day be dedicated to you. (At least from your family and friends)
